The Toronto Raptors lost another game to a very good team as the Minnesota Timberwolves handled them on Thursday night. In Episode 2055, Sean Woodley goes solo to talk about the Raptors asking too much of Jamal Shead after a brutal evening for the Raptors' second year guard, the Raptors' increasingly precarious position in the Eastern Conference as their cushion on the 5th seed dwindles, and more from Toronto's fourth loss in five games. Off the top, Sean talks about how the Raptors' lack of depth at guard continues to be a problem, particularly on nights where Jamal Shead doesn't have it. He's a good player, but the Raptors have put way too much burden on his shoulders. Next, Sean assesses the race for the Top-6, why the Raptors should still hang onto a playoff spot and avoid the Play-in, and the ramifications if they slip out of the Top-6 and, gulp, lose a couple times to miss the playoffs entirely. Lastly, Sean runs through The Good (RJ Barrett), The Bad (needlessly bad switches) and The Hmmm (IQ pull-ups and flirting with Raptors history) to round out the show.
