Next, Sean gets into why Meleek Thomas of Arkansas is a ton of fun as a prospect, even if he's a tad hooper pilled. Is he a better guard prospect than Ebuka Okorie? Lastly, Sean talks about Tennessee wing Nate Ament, who doesn't nearly have the star power that he seems to get projected upon him, but is there a helpful if underwhelming role player in there?

The Toronto Raptors announced Monday that they've extended GM Bobby Manager and added the Executive Vice President title to his ledger; was it the right move for the Raptors to opt for stability going forward? In Episode 2125, Sean Woodley reacts to the news of Webster's extension and promotion before digging into NBA Draft prospects Dailyn Swain (Texas) and Morez Johnson Jr. (Michigan). Off the top, Sean talks about why the Raptors' opting to go forward with Webster in command is a much preferable option to allowing Keith Pelley and MLSE to conduct a search for a new head of basketball ops. Just look at how that went with the Leafs. Webster might not have a perfect record, but he's done more good than bad, and seems to understand how to build a winner in this specific market while having done a good job pulling the Raptors out of the muck and back into relevance. Next, Sean talks about Dailyn Swain, a creative force of a ball-handling wing who gets to the rim at will, but has some questions about his off-ball efficacy and defensive consistency. Lastly, Sean talks about Morez Johnson Jr., an absolute unit of a man who was a key figure on this years' national champ Wolverines team. There's no way he's there at 19 though, right?

The Toronto Raptors are building their team around Scottie Barnes and Collin Murray-Boyles going forward, but what will that look like in actuality? In Episode 2124, Sean Woodley and Joe Wolfond dig deep into what the Raptors will need to do in order to optimize the roster around their two most important players going forward. Off the top, they discuss whether having two players with questionable three-point shots but truly unique qualities as defensive players opens up a wide range of team building paths, or if the front office will be restricted and forced to target very specific types of players over the next handful of years. Next, they examine whether or not Murray-Boyles should be viewed as a full-time centre, and the bar that would need to be cleared by a theoretical stretch big man to make it worth moving off of the Scottie-CMB 4-5 combo in the team's most important minutes going forward. Is it best if the Raptors target a greater number of cheap big men with varied skills to fill in the gaps when the Barnes-CMB duo isn't manning the five? Lastly, they chat about how the NBA Draft should be approached by the Raptors, and why the Barnes / Murray-Boyles duo gives them license to pick from a wide range of positions as opposed to be married to one type of player. Plus, a customary plea by Sean and Joe for more guard play.
