The Toronto Raptors have the 19th pick in this year's NBA Draft, and they should be able to get a good player! In Episode 2108, Sean Woodley digs into why the pool of players likely available for the Raptors when they're on the clock at 19 should net them a good player, the wide range of options they'll be able to pull from with a bunch of guards, wings and bigs all potentially available, how much they need to consider the fit of any incoming prospect around Scottie Barnes and Collin Murray-Boyles, and some of the prospects that are catching Sean's eye early in the draft process. Sean talks at length about Santa Clara stretch four Allen Graves and why he could fit nicely if the Raptors are in fact leaning into a Vision 6'9 2.0 style team build. Plus, Sean takes a look at two guards who are almost inversions of one another: the smooth-shooting Texas Tech guard Christian Anderson, and the electrifying Ebuka Okorie from Stanford. Brandon Ingram was an All-Star in his first season with the Toronto Raptors and they surely don't make the playoffs without him, but does he need to evolve his game more to help them win at the highest level? In Episode 2107, Sean Woodley goes solo to break down the first season of the Brandon Ingram experiment in Toronto, his late season injury that clearly left him diminished in the playoffs, why even though his style of play could be laborious, Ingram did in fact his evolve his game to fit the Raptors' needs and was ultimately a necessary innings-eater to help the Raptors register a Top-10 halfcourt offense and earn the 5th seed in a competitive Eastern Conference. Plus, Sean gets into the ways in which he'd like to see Ingram further adapt his game going into his second season with the Raptors, and discusses all the possible offseason outcomes re: Ingram's place within the team.
