Arsenal Women Arsecast Episode 156: If you know your history

    2026-03-04 | 41 mins.
In this special episode of the Arsenal Women Arsecast, Tim talks to Arsenal fan Adam Salter, who has undertaken a project to fill in a lot of gaps around the history of Arsenal Ladies and has written a Wikipedia page for each season of the club's existence since 1987. Tim and Adam chat about the difficulty of uncovering the club's early years due to a lack of documentation and reporting, why now is the window to uncover that information, how he has partnered with the club and supporters and other sources and what next for the project and overcoming inconsistencies and some of the humble and often obscure sources for footage and data.

    Arsecast Extra Episode 684 - 02.03.2026

    2026-03-02 | 1h 43 mins.
In this episode we look back on Sunday's 2-1 win over Chelsea. We discuss this Arsenal side's prowess from set-pieces, and while it might not be to everyone's taste, it
shouldn't be dismissed so easily – especially as it helped us win a very important game of football. We analyse the goals we scored, and the one we conceded, as well as chatting about how corners etc are now almost impossible to referee because of all the pushing and holding on both sides. We also talk about how Arsenal failed to control the game when Chelsea went down to 10 men, how tight margin games are part and parcel of a title race, and there's obvious praise for David Raya after his heroics late on ensured Mikel Arteta's side took all three points. Then we answer listener questions about Declan Rice, midfield options, Leandro Trossard's recent form, mooted changes to VAR, and lots more.

    Arsecast Extra Episode 683 - 23.02.2026

    2026-02-23 | 1h 40 mins.
In this episode we're looking back on, and enjoying, a second 4-1 North London derby win of the season. We chat about Arsenal's early dominance, and the nonsensical nature of the early stoppage in the game which, thankfully, didn't halt our momentum. We should have been ahead at the break after Eberechi Eze put us 1-0 up, but a big mistake from Declan Rice saw them equalise. We turned the screw in the second half though, with another from Eze and two from Viktor Gyokeres who put in a really impressive performance. We also discuss the disallowed goal and David Raya's incredible save, as well as how the Gunners responded to the midweek disappointment at Wolves. In part 2 we have questions about Jurrien Timber and Cristhian Mosquera, whether Eze should keep his place for the game against Chelsea on Sunday, Declan Rice's on-pitch comportment in recent times, whether we'd like to see Sp*rs get relegated, and lots more.
