A 2026 trip into the Lolo Pass and Mt. Hood area of Oregon produced one of Gary Allen’s most intense weekends yet.

Gary returns to Bigfoot Society with firsthand details from a remote camp near what he calls Skookum Ridge, where several people reported activity over the same weekend. His skeptical brother watched multiple massive figures moving around camp before a reported 9-to-10-foot figure walked within feet of his SUV.

Elsewhere in camp, a father and son reported an 8-foot figure crossing a strobe-lit meadow. Later, another witness described a towering black figure standing near the trees with bright yellow eye shine.

The weekend also included strange vocalizations moving through the forest, powerful wood knocks, unusual horse reactions, possible trackways, missing camp equipment, food disappearing, and more.

Then Saturday brought another massive silhouette across the river and things kept escalating.

Multiple witnesses. Multiple encounters. One extraordinarily active weekend near Lolo Pass, Mt. Hood and the Sandy River in Oregon.

A lifelong local from Oregon’s Lolo Pass and Mt. Hood region shares what people in the area have been seeing, hearing, and quietly talking about for decades.

In this episode of Bigfoot Society, she takes us deep into the back roads around Lolo Pass, Lost Lake, Brightwood, Ramona Falls, and the surrounding Mt. Hood forests. She describes a childhood sighting in the late 1990s, strange activity along remote forest roads, massive human-like prints reported on vehicles, unexplained whoops, rocks being thrown, trees and branches being manipulated, and encounters with mysterious lights locals call “wisps.”

Then she shares what happened at her own riverfront property in June 2026.

Late one night, a whoop rang out near the house. A tree came down. Her dogs went into high alert. Near an enormous cedar, she and her friends spotted a massive figure watching them from the darkness. What happened after she confronted it ended with a wet river rock landing on her deck.

You'll also hear local stories surrounding the “Man of the Ridge” above a Brightwood rock quarry, reports from hikers around Ramona Falls, experiences along the area's power-line corridors, stories passed down by old-time loggers, and more. 

This is an unusually detailed look at Bigfoot reports from someone who has spent her life in the Mt. Hood region and grew up hearing the stories that circulate among the people who live there.

Bigfoot sightings stretch across North America in this episode of Bigfoot Society, with firsthand witnesses sharing encounters from Alberta, British Columbia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and beyond.

A coal miner describes driving near McLennan, Alberta, when an enormous dark figure appeared beside the railroad tracks. He watched it take four full steps, estimated it at 7½ to 8 feet tall, and backed his car up for another look. What happened in the woods afterward—and the reaction of a nearby dog—has stayed with him ever since.

In British Columbia, we hear about generations of Indigenous Bukwus stories from the Kitimat and Kemano region, along with a chilling scream heard from the shoreline during a boating trip.

A Kentucky investigator shares a nighttime thermal encounter with a massive upright figure near Fords Ferry Road. Another Kentucky witness remembers following enormous humanlike footprints through fresh snow outside Elizabethtown until blood appeared beside the tracks and something began violently shaking the vegetation ahead of him.

We also hear remarkable historical accounts from Connecticut firefighters, a nighttime encounter from western Pennsylvania, and stories passed down from the remote Yukon community of Beaver Creek.

In 1993, Beth was completing Greenfield Community College’s Outdoor Leadership Program (OLP) when a required multi-day solo brought her deep into DAR State Forest in Goshen, Massachusetts.

On her final night, footsteps approached her tent. Then came bright lights, deep voices, paralysis, and two massive roars she says vibrated through her teeth, jaw, and entire body. She never saw what was outside. More than 30 years later, she still wants to know what happened.

Then we head into Northern Ontario with an experienced outdoorsman whose encounters include an enormous five-toed footprint, strange tracks crossing deep winter snow, massive calls moving along a remote lake, answering whistles, and something huge charging through the brush.

His experiences continue into Northern California with unexplained knocks in the redwoods and a disturbing encounter among the giant sequoias.

Sam Chandler’s journey with the Sasquatch phenomenon stretches from a remote 5,000-acre property in Ontario, Canada, to the forests of Georgia and deep into the mountains of Oregon.

In this episode of Bigfoot Society, Sam shares decades of experiences that began when he was a child and continued into adulthood. He recalls unexplained footsteps around an isolated Canadian lake, violent impacts against a cabin, strange lights moving through the forest, unusual recordings captured at night, and a terrifying solo camping experience that changed his understanding of what might be happening around him.
Years later in western Georgia, the encounters continued. Sam describes changing tree structures, unseen footsteps following his family, three separate sets of footsteps closing in around him, wood knocks, activity around his home, and interactions that became increasingly personal.

After moving to Oregon, everything intensified.

Sam takes us into remote camps near Bend, Camp Broken Arrow along the Bigfoot Highway, and the forests surrounding Oakridge. He shares experiences involving massive individuals moving through the darkness, mysterious whistles beside his tent, apparent communication, strange vibrations, rocks thrown into camp, something racing past his vehicle in the middle of the night, and an approximately 16-inch footprint discovered near a spring during Sasquatch Summer Fest 2026.

Sam also shares some of his most extraordinary experiences involving what he calls the “Sasquatch people,” including encounters he believes involved direct communication and an Oregon experience in which three individuals—a male, female, and juvenile—were presented to him with remarkable clarity.

This is a journey spanning more than 40 years, multiple states, and two countries.
