In this chilling episode of Sasquatch Theory, I sit down with Buddy from Minnesota to discuss a terrifying encounter that occurred earlier in his life while working as a trash collector in rural Wisconsin. While servicing a remote property near Lyndon Station and Elroy, Buddy heard a loud, aggressive grunt coming from the woods. Moments later, he came face to face with a massive creature standing only a few feet away — over seven feet tall, built like a wolf, standing upright on two legs, with glowing red eyes and an overwhelming stench of rotten flesh.As Buddy fled in his vehicle, the creature paralleled him through the trees, moving with speed and intent. What makes this encounter even more disturbing is what happened next: when Buddy told his boss what he saw, his boss immediately asked if he had seen the werewolf — implying prior knowledge of the creature and the area. Buddy later learned the woman living at the property was involved in occult practices, leading us to discuss whether certain locations act as gateways, portals, or thin places where something crosses over. In this episode, I sit down once again with Mike from Florida, a returning guest who previously appeared on the channel. Mike is an active-duty military servicemember, and this time he shares a never-before-told encounter that occurred during wilderness and ambush training in Alaska in 2024. While conducting field exercises, Mike’s unit received an urgent radio call regarding an unknown animal or entity causing serious disturbances near a remote village. The squad was ordered to investigate. Upon arriving and speaking with local elders, they were warned that what they were dealing with was not a normal animal. The First Nations people identified the entity as Sasquatch, describing recent attacks, missing dogs, and a terrifying incident in which a creature allegedly grabbed a person, only to drop them after being witnessed. One elder described a chilling encounter where the creature peered through a window while growling, then smashed the glass and fled into the forest. At the time, Mike’s unit was poorly equipped—carrying blanks and knives, not expecting a real engagement. That changed quickly when the forest went unnaturally silent, signaling the presence of a large predator. Soon after, movement was detected. Trees were shaking. Growls echoed through the woods. Mike then came face to face with a massive creature—approximately 8 feet tall, with huge canine teeth and a baboon-like face. Based on what he saw, Mike identified the entity as a Gugwe, a highly aggressive and dangerous cryptid known in Indigenous lore. A tribal elder later confirmed that this was the same creature the village had been seeing. After the creature triggered a booby trap, Mike’s unit engaged multiple times. During the encounter, the creature threw a log, striking Mike and knocking him to the ground. As the confrontation escalated, another growl was heard—suggesting possible communication with another Sasquatch. The creature was seen again at roughly 100 yards, and after further engagement, it appeared disoriented and eventually went down. What happened next raises even more questions. Mike reports that black helicopters, scientists, and men in black arrived shortly after. The village was separated, interrogated, and forced to sign non-disclosure agreements. The military took possession of the creature, which Mike described as having an extremely foul odor. This is one of the most intense military cryptid encounters ever shared on the channel—one that blurs the line between folklore, classified operations, and something far more real. In this episode, I speak with Larry from Northwest Arkansas, who recounts multiple unexplained encounters connected to Lake Wedington and the surrounding Ozark wilderness. Larry’s first experience occurred in the early 1990s during a snowy drive down a gravel road near the lake, when something suddenly struck the side of his car with incredible force—enough to rock the vehicle. Curious and shaken, he stopped shortly afterward to inspect the damage, but never found a clear explanation for what hit him. Years later, in the mid-1990s during late summer, Larry and his friends were fishing near the dam at Lake Wedington when they heard something massive moving through the brush toward the water. He describes the sound as being as loud and heavy as a truck pushing through the woods, yet moving with the distinct rhythm of a person walking. When the movement stopped, the group felt a sudden sense of danger—followed by the sound of something running and jumping directly into the lake. What followed sounded like a powerful swimmer moving dangerously close to the back of their boat. Although they never visually saw the creature, the intelligence, size, and behavior left them shaken. Larry also shares accounts of unexplained banging on the side of his home, stories of a close friend being chased out of the woods by a Sasquatch, and a disturbing incident from his parents involving all of their chickens being killed under strange circumstances.
