Madeline and Charlotte are back with dear friend of the show, senior NBA reporter/writer Fred Katz! The gals talk to Fred about the biggest stories in the NBA from Summer League and free agency.

First up: Mitchell Robinson was traded from the Knicks to the Celtics, and he is now trolling both Celtics fans and his former teammates. Fred describes Mitch’s persona and tells behind-the-scenes stories about him (including some insights from his forthcoming book about the Knicks!) and everyone spends a surprising amount of time talking about fonts.

Then, the punch heard round the NBA! Bam Adabayo punched his former teammate Tyler Herro in the face at 9am at Summer League in Las Vegas — is it because Tyler Herro “doesn’t believe in history” or anything that happened before 1950? And, finally, what is the angle that LeBron James’s camp is trying to spin with the Sixers talk? Is it real? Or is he just going to Golden State?

Madeline and Charlotte are back! First, they talk about the lawsuit that uncovered a video Phillies star Bryce Harper made for a FanDuel customer — and Harper’s PR response.

Then, the gals dive into World Cup drama. First, the response to racist remarks by Spain’s former prime minister. Then, they talk about France vs. Spain, and why the US men’s soccer program needs to learn from those countries. Then, a discussion about the controversial calls that led to England and Argentina making it to the semi-finals (involves tin-foil hat theories). The gals also discuss England star Jude Bellingham and his coach, and decide that VAR is the LinkedIn of sports.

Finally, the gals talk about Argentina, because the country’s soccer federation is at the center of an FBI investigation in South Florida.

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a Tayvis Wedding Extravaganza! But first: The United States dabbled in FIFA corruption, which means America is officially a soccer country. Donald Trump called FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, and got Flo Balogun’s red card un-suspended (the gals recorded this before the game last night, but they did have a feeling it wouldn’t go well). They also talk about Norway’s Erling Haaland, the great Messi, and who will win it all.

Then it’s Tayvis time! The gals talk about the sportiest guests at the wedding, from Mike Vrabel, to Tom Brady, to Dean Blandino — and if you don’t know who Dean Blandino is, keep listening. The gals also discuss the business of Taylor Swift, the logistics of a wedding like this, Lena Dunham’s football speech, and much, much more!

But first, a few things! Serena Williams reportedly injured her knee during her Wimbledon singles match and is doubtful to play doubles with her sister, Venus. World Cupdate: Mexico made history and won the team’s first knockout match in 40 years when they beat Ecuador 2-0.

Then: LeBron is leaving the Lakers! He’s not retiring and he’ll play somewhere else. Will that be the Golden State Warriors with Steph Curry and Draymond Green? The Cleveland Cavaliers? No one knows yet. He did, however, get his son paid by LA before he bounced.

And finally: Taylor and Travis’s wedding! Taylor’s team applied for a street activity permit from July 2nd -July 4th near MSG — is this actually happening? The gals discuss everything we know so far and give their take on why the rollout of info could actually be a brilliant meta-commentary on Taylor’s public image to date.
