Madeline and Charlotte are back, reporting from a city still buzzing after the Knicks emerged victorious from the Finals. The boys are being silly on TV, KAT shouted out Jordyn Woods and her lucky bag, the gals decide that Mikal Bridges is the only player allowed to go live, and the parade is set for Thursday.

For all you hockey fans out there: The Carolina Hurricanes took the Stanley Cup with a winning combo of a nerd in the front office and a jock leading the charge on the ice. If you don’t know what that means, listen to the show!

Then, the gals dive into the World Cup, which is already sucking them in with the never-ending intrigue. Cape Verde is the story of the Group Stage so far, with its 40-year-old goalie, Vozinha, who saved the day in a draw against heavily favored Spain. Plus, one of Cape Verde’s players was invited to join the team via LinkedIn. The US beat Paraguay on Friday, and the gals will have a deep dive episode into the USMNT on Thursday. Tunisia fired their manager after the first game and hired a notoriously hot French coach, Herve Renard.

And finally: Some details and info about the Iranian national team’s very strange and complicated situation, and why their best player was left off the roster.

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a TedTalk — sorry, episode — about the why the Knicks are modeling great leadership and how the team is winning despite a ton of distractions. The gals talk about what it was like to be in the building for the insane Game 4 comeback, the celebrities they saw, and the passion of fans who couldn’t be in the building.

Then they go on a deep dive into how the Knicks are exhibiting the psychological traits needed to win it all. From Karl-Anthony Towns and Jose Alvarado’s press conference, to Jalen Brunson’s ability to believe, to OG Anunoby’s incredible game-winner, to coach Mike Brown’s embracing of adversity, New York is behaving like a true team with great leadership.

They can visualize success, and they should be a lesson for everyone who is in charge of (or wants to make a meaningful difference within) an organization.

Madeline and Charlotte are live from the floor of Madison Square Garden at 12:30 in the morning after the Knicks completed the most insane comeback in NBA Finals history. The Spurs led by as many as 29 points, but New York managed to win, 107-106. It was an absolutely insane night made possible by the power of male friendship, healthy co-working habits, unwavering belief, and Taylor Swift.

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a normal episode from Brooklyn after a whirlwind trip to San Antonio and Madison Square Garden for Games 1 and 3 of the NBA Finals. They talk about what it was like staying at the same hotel as all of ESPN’s major broadcasters in Texas, the state of vibes in San Antonio, and how crazy New York City was after the Game 2 win on Saturday.

Then, the gals take listeners behind the scenes of Game 3, which was the first Finals game at Madison Square Garden since 1999. The whole operation was messed up thanks to Donald Trump. He decided he was going to show up, after being invited by Knicks owner James Dolan, and make everyone’s lives miserable by causing a massive disruption to Manhattan and at the Garden.

The vibes were definitely skewed by his presence, but the Knicks did their best to fight them off. The Spurs ultimately won — is this a harbinger of things to come? The gals take Shareholders to the Garden for a play-by-play of the most memorable night in New York in decades.

Madeline and Charlotte are back with Part II of their NBA Finals extravaganza! The Sports Gossip Show was honored to be one of nine podcasts that the NBA invited to their first-ever Podcast Row. This episode is the second of two shows made up of interviews the gals conducted against the backdrop of the Spurs’ arena before Game 1.

First up is DeAndre Jordan, current NBA player, NBA All Star, and Finals champion. He talked about what it takes to be a good teammate, the wildest prank that was ever pulled on him in a locker room, and what it feels like to be traded and then have to play a game immediately with your new team. Then, a conversation with Head of Referee Training & Development, Monty McCutchen, who tells the gals how refs are chosen for the Finals, and much more. Finally, the gals talk to Will Reeve, who is covering the Finals for Good Morning America, about the spirit in New York City when the Knicks are this good.
