The Sports Gossip Show

Madeline and Charlotte are back with another episode of Sports Gossip, in which they dissect a very bad week for women in sports. 
First, a few fun things: Taylor Swift was at Travis Kelce’s home-opener (in which the Chiefs beat the Broncos) with…Tom Cruise? Also, Widow’s Bay won a bunch of Emmy’s, which isn’t sports, but sort of is. The US women won their fifth-straight FIBA World Cup gold medal, and the content coming out of it from Angel Reese and all the players was great. 
Okay, time for the bad stuff. Elena Rybakina won the US Open, and there are some not-great things going on with her coach, Stefano Vukov. Alexander Zverev also won the US Open, and multiple women have accused him of domestic violence, yet the ATP has done nothing about it. Texas quarterback Arch Manning publicly laughed at an AI-generated clip of his head coach, Steve Sarkisian, slapping ESPN reporter Holly Rowe. And the actress Sydney Sweeney appeared in a very sexist ad for a sports betting company in which she has equity. The gals talk about where we are as a society, and how all of these things are related.

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a bonus episode — they binged Alix Earle’s reality show, Earle Meets World, and have lots of thoughts. They talk about how the Tom Brady alleged hook-up situation was handled, the Earle family dynamics, what the show teaches us about reality TV in 2026, the way influencers will try to expand their platforms, and much more.

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a question: Does anyone care that LeBron James did a Polymarket ad? They discuss the superstar’s new commercial that also features athletes like Eli Manning, Richard Sherman, Derek Jeter, Rajon Rondo, Reggie Bush, Sue Bird, and celebs like Alexandra Daddario, John Leguizamo, Craig Robinson, Spike Lee, and more. It seems bad, but people don’t seem to be too angry about it, so the gals are curious. 
Then, they talk about the Bill Belichick disaster at UNC. GM Mike Lombardi resigned last week amid ongoing an HR investigation, and there is reportedly also an investigation looking into Steve Belichick, whom lawyers have allegedly questioned about drug related issues and involvement with players. Pretty much the darkest possible timeline!

ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes joins the show to discuss all the juiciest NFL storylines before the season kicks off with Seahawks (Mina’s team) vs Charlotte’s Patriots on Wednesday night. 
The gals talk to Mina about all sorts of things: Will the scandal involving Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini affect how the Patriots play this season? Did Sam Darnold’s wedding help the Seahawks? How will the Chiefs fare with Travis Kelce entering his 14th season as Taylor Swift’s husband, and offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy’s horrible family situation? Why was Deshaun Watson named the Browns starter? The 49ers had a bizarre offseason, with coach Kyle Shanahan’s car crash and owner Jed York’s arrest for suspicion of engaging in prostitution — will any of this affect the team (not to mention the Daejon Love story)? And finally, Aaron Rodgers’ strange comments about hoping he has a “pregnant wife” by next year and why the people who attack Mina for talking about Rodgers are behaving like idiots.

Madeline and Charlotte are back with a very exciting episode: a crossover with Jessica Smetana and Lucy Rohden, two dear friends of SGS who have started a great new show, College Football Happy Hour. 
The four women in STEM get into all sorts of CFB drama, including Lane Kiffin’s LSU insanity, whether Arch Manning is interesting, Bobby Petrino’s coaching renaissance for Bill Belichick at UNC and Jordon Hudson’s recent outfit, USC’s lack of fans (lol), Notre Dame’s professionalism, Iowa’s quarterback mess, and much more. 
Finally, the show ends with an insane story about Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend’s parents getting themselves kicked out of the very welcoming Iowa community. You’ll have to listen to believe.
