ACID FOR SQUARES

On episode #96 of the Acid For Squares podcast, hosts Cody Blue and Tanya Dahl are joined by award-winning filmmaker Gabe Polsky and international peacekeeper Patrick McCollum. They join us to discuss The Man Who Saves The World?, a documentary about Patrick’s astonishing journey into the Amazon after tribal elders told him he was the man foretold in an ancient prophecy, destined to unite the tribes of the Amazon and save the planet.

Patrick McCollum’s story begins with a prophecy almost too incredible to believe. According to the elders, Patrick was Roxa, the spirit of the condor, a long-awaited figure connected to an ancient Amazon prophecy. At first, Patrick refused the calling because of a broken back. But after the elders performed a mystical healing ceremony that miraculously healed him, he set out on a life-changing journey into the Amazon to discover whether the prophecy was real, and whether he truly was the person they believed him to be.
