Medium in the Middle Podcast

This week's episode is one of the strangest experiences I've had in my work and something I'm still trying to fully understand.
A client came in for a session and the moment I saw his name, I recognized it. When he arrived, I greeted him like I already knew him. It felt natural and familiar, like we had met before. I even asked him when I had last seen him.
But, according to my system, he had no previous appointments, and when I asked him, he told me we had never met.
That's when things took a turn.
I couldn't snap out of it. For the entire hour session, it felt like I was remembering something that didn't actually happen. Not like typical déjà vu where something feels familiar for a moment, but like a full memory. I I knew why he was there, I knew details about his life, and when I shared what I was getting, his response was, "we've never met before".
In this episode, I walk you through exactly what happened, what it felt like in my body, how it impacted the session, and the questions it has brought up for me since.
This is part one of a series because this wasn't an isolated incident. There have been other experiences happening that I can't fully explain yet, and i'll be sharing more in part 2.

In this episode, I'm celebrating episode 300 of the podcast and taking a moment to reflect on the journey that got me here.
I share how this all began, from recording episode one of the first time I connected with spirit, and what this path has looked like behind the scenes over the years. This episode walks through the moments that shaped not only this podcast, but also my work and the way I show up today. It brought up more emotion than I expected and feels like a true full circle moment.
I also share what I'm most proud of when I look back on reaching 300 episodes and everything it took to stay consistent, grow, and continue showing up on this podcast over the last almost 7 years. 
In the second half of the episode, I answer a series of questions submitted on Instagram. I speak into topics like whether the future is predetermined, how to tell the difference between intuitive information and your own thoughts, and the biggest tip I would give someone developing their mediumship. I also talk about what I personally see and experience in my work, including whether I see auras or anything connected to nature, and how Reiki supported the development of my mediumship.
I answer questions around whether devices like an Apple Watch or Oura Ring affect energy work, whether spirit communication is always loving or can come from a place of ego or separation, and what it means when spirit begins to come through during Reiki sessions. I also share my process for energetically "turning off" when I'm in crowds, reference earlier podcast episodes (50 and 70) where I talk about the eggshell analogy, and speak to the idea of identifying what kind of intuitive or "woo-woo" person you might be.

In this episode, I'm sharing a story from early in my career about a moment when I completely stuck my foot in my mouth while sharing psychic information.
It happened during an Instagram Live when I said that I felt someone would be having a baby soon. What I meant by "soon" and what the person hearing it understood were two very different things.
Months later, I received a very strongly worded email about how this message gave her false hope, as she was not yet pregnant. I learned a very important lesson from this that I will never forget.
Timing is one of the most difficult parts of psychic information. Words like "soon" can mean very different things depending on who is hearing them and what expectations they attach to that word.
In this episode, I talk about why timing can be so tricky in intuitive work and why I personally choose to be very careful when it comes to speaking about fertility or timelines. Experiences like this shaped how I approach my work today and taught me the importance of being thoughtful with the way intuitive information is delivered. I always want to share the good, the bad, and the ugly lessons I've learned over the years.
And while the situation felt very uncomfortable at the time, it ultimately had a very happy ending. Tune in to hear the full story and the unexpected way this situation eventually came full circle.

This episode was inspired by ordinary trip to the gym, but it quickly turned into a spirit trying to visit someone in class. 
I share a moment when someone asked me if I could feel her grandmother around her at the gym. Normally, I'm completely off and don't sense energy randomly. I also talk about why reading someone else's energy without consent is unethical.
I share a story about a mother's energy that lingered around me at the gym for a week. It took me months to realize it was one of my friend's moms. This led to a deeper reflection on how, as adults, we rarely talk about our passed loved ones even when our friends are mediums.
The realization came at a Christmas brunch while discussing family traditions, when I discovered two of my friends had lost their moms. The energy I had been feeling at the gym turned out to be one of their moms visiting. The synchronicity was uncanny, especially since we all go to the gym at the same time every day.
Tune in for this story about noticing energy, the ethics of delivering mediumship messages, and how the spirits of our passed loved ones can show up in the most unexpected places even in the middle of your workout.

In this episode, I share one of the most synchronistic client stories I have ever heard that shocked me! 
It began with a client simply hearing about Canada. Then she kept hearing about Banff. Then Reiki kept coming into conversation. One connection led to another until she found my podcast, or should I say my podcast found her. My episode randomly started playing in her car. Every step felt connected, intentional and mind blowing. 
I receive messages often from people sharing the unexpected ways they find my podcast, but this one truly shook me. The synchronicities were undeniable.
This episode is a reminder that sometimes you do not find a podcast by accident. Sometimes it finds you. I believe that if you are here listening, you are here for a reason. Whether you are developing your intuition, stepping into Reiki, or deepening your spiritual path, you are not here randomly. One thing I know for sure, is my podcast will find you when you need it.
