The Church of Eleven22

What happens when evil and good seem to grow side by side in the world? In Matthew 13, Jesus teaches through the parables of the weeds, the mustard seed, and the leaven to reveal what the Kingdom of God is really like.

Through these parables, Jesus shows us that God is still at work even when we cannot fully see it. The enemy may sow confusion, pain, and destruction, but God’s Kingdom continues to grow steadily, powerfully, and according to His perfect timing. What starts small can transform everything.

The Kingdom of God is not built through fear, control, or human effort. It grows through the power and presence of Jesus working in and through His people.

Jesus reminds us that judgment belongs to Him, growth belongs to God, and our role is to remain faithful while trusting the harvest is coming.

What is the condition of your heart? How is your soil? In Matthew 13, Jesus teaches the Parable of the Sower and challenges us to examine how we receive the Word of God. Some hearts are hard. Some are shallow. Some are divided by the cares of this world. But when the Word of God lands on good soil, it produces real fruit and lasting transformation.

Following Jesus is not about religion, emotional highs, or trying harder. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ alone.

What happens when religion becomes more about rules than relationship? In Matthew 12, Jesus confronts the Pharisees and exposes how legalism can distort the heart of God.

Through encounters with the Pharisees, healing on the Sabbath, and powerful teaching about grace, Jesus shows us that religion without Him only leads to pride, shame, and exhaustion. The gospel is not about earning God’s love through performance. It’s about receiving the mercy and freedom that Jesus already paid for on the cross.

Jesus did not come to heap burdens on people. He came to bring rest, healing, freedom, and new life.

What do you do when your faith is strong, but your circumstances make you question everything? In this message through Matthew 11, we see even John the Baptist wrestle with doubt while sitting in prison. The same man who boldly declared Jesus as the Messiah begins to ask, “Are you really the one?”

This sermon reminds us that doubt doesn’t disqualify your faith. It reveals where to bring your questions. The real battle isn’t faith vs doubt, it’s faith vs fear. And what you choose to trust will shape your life.

Jesus doesn’t promise an easy life or perfect circumstances. He offers something greater. Himself. Even when life feels confusing, exhausting, or overwhelming, His invitation remains the same.

Jesus heals, but He also calls us to go. In this message from Matthew 9 and 10, we see Jesus open blind eyes, heal the hurting, and remind us that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. But the miracle is not the end of the story, it is the beginning of the mission.

The same Jesus who rescues us also sends us. The harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few, and faith was never meant to stay comfortable. Following Jesus means moving from being rescued to becoming part of the rescue team. Pray boldly. Choose faith over fear. If the tomb is empty, anything is possible.
