Trump’s hand picked federal prosecutor, supported by his former criminal defense lawyers running the DOJ, are now using Trump’s favorite judge, Aileen Cannon, to use 130+ grand jury subpoenas to go after Trump’s political targets, like former CIA Director Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey, to try to destroy the factual narrative that the Russians lead by Putin interfered with the 2016 election to sabotage Hillary and elect Trump. Popok reports on how Trump’s “grand conspiracy” was already debunked in 2020 by Marco Rubio and the Senate Intelligence Committee, and certainly can’t be the basis of a crime now.

It only took: (a) a chief judge threatening literally to open the doors of federal prisons to release convicts and dismiss indictments; and (b) another judge tossing a senior DOJ official out of his courtroom and threatening to put Alina Habba under oath at a hearing about whether she was secretly and illegally running a prosecutor’s office after being fired; for the Trump Administration to cave in and allow for a proper US Attorney to be appointed in NJ.
