The race for the Pacific Division title is coming down to the final game, and Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin break down everything on today’s episode of Oilersnation Everyday.

Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin are back to break down a hard-fought 2–1 shootout loss for the Edmonton Oilers against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night.

It was a strong performance from a banged-up Oilers lineup, going toe-to-toe with one of the NHL’s best teams. Connor Ingram was outstanding in goal, stopping 31 of 32 shots, but ultimately couldn’t get the win in the shootout.

The guys will break down everything that happened in the game, including another tough night for the power play, which went 0-for-3 and missed a golden opportunity late in the third period with a 5-on-3 chance to take the lead. They’ll also discuss how impressive this effort was given the Oilers’ current injury situation, and what it means heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

Later in the show, Tyler and Liam will play the Rating Game, looking at different playoff scenarios across the NHL now that the postseason field is officially set, with only positioning left to be decided. To wrap things up, the guys will go through what’s trending around the league as the playoff picture begins to take shape.
