Originally from June of 2025, this episode seems to have only become more relevant as Alberta has escalated tensions towards Treaty Chiefs and the province has been set careening to a separatism referendum by Danielle Smith and the UCP.

With relations between the government of Alberta and First Nations at an arguable low with Treaty Chiefs expressing deep frustration and hurt from the way that the province is treating First Nations and the Treaties, we are extremely excited to present this extremely important conversation with Mi'kmaq poet Rebecca Thomas!
