  • Rachel Mellon-Skemp
In 1996, 13-year-old Rachel Marie Mellon-Skemp stayed home sick from school. By the end of the day, she, along with a blanket and two pillows from her bed, had vanished into the freezing Illinois winter. There were no witnesses and no trail leading to where Rachel may have gone, and the only story we have comes from the last person to see her alive. Rachel Marie Mellon-Skemp was last seen on January 31st, 1996, in Bolingbrook, Illinois. She is Asian and White with black hair and hazel eyes. At the time of her disappearance, her hair was shoulder length, she was about 5 feet tall, and weighed approximately 80lbs. She was last seen wearing a pink sweater, yellow sweatpants, and red house slippers. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bolingbrook Police Department at 630-226-8660. But thanks to a recent discovery just a few weeks before recording this episode, rewards totaling over a million dollars and new technology, investigators are more hopeful than ever that this case can and will be solved. There is a $200,000 reward for information about Rosemary Brown and $1,000,000 reward for information about Melissa Trussell. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-333-0000.
