Dean Delray's LET THERE BE TALK

Today on another episode of Let There Be Talk, I'm flying solo and getting into a few things that have been rattling around in my head.
First off, I finally got to meet the legendary Steven Wright. If you know comedy, you know how important this guy is. One of the most original comedians to ever step on a stage. His brain works on a completely different frequency, and getting the chance to meet him was pretty damn cool.
I also want to talk about Metallica playing the Sphere in Las Vegas. Think about that for a second. Metallica, one of the biggest bands in the history of rock, taking on one of the most insane venues ever built. I love seeing this band go higher and higher this deep into their career.
And then we're getting into one of my all-time favorite records, The White Stripes' White Blood Cells. Man, what a fucking record. Jack White is one of those artists who just gets it. The songwriting, the sounds, the attitude, the creativity. I've been a huge fan of everything that guy touches.
Thanks for tuning in my friends and I hope to see you out on the road.

Today on Let There Be Talk, my guest is my friend Scott Holiday, guitarist and songwriter for Rival Sons.
I've known Scott for a long time, and it's always great sitting down with him and catching up. This time around, we're talking about something a little different — his new solo record "Topology"
We get into songwriting, guitars, recording, and what it's like to be the lead singer on this record.
Scott is really an amazing musician and friend, and I always enjoy hearing how he approaches music and where his head is at creatively.
So sit back and enjoy my conversation with Scott Holiday, today on Let There Be Talk.

Today on another episode of Let There Be Talk, I'm sitting down with an old friend I haven't seen in about 20 years — Shane Russeck, owner of True North Watch Company.
It's always crazy when you reconnect with somebody after that much time and realize you can just pick right back up where you left off. Shane and I went deep on watches, motorcycles, cars, comedy, and a whole lot of stories from back in the day.
We talk about the world of watches and what it takes to build a company around something you're genuinely passionate about, but this conversation goes way beyond watches. We get into our absolute love of Design.
This one really felt like two old friends sitting down and catching up — no bullshit, just a great conversation.
So here we go.
Shane Russeck of True North Watch Company, today on Let There Be Talk.
