We've been meaning to have them on for a few months now, ever since I met Seth on the Let it Rip tour while he was drumming for Thoughts on Bowling, and we finally made it happen. Jacob, Faye and Seth were a great time and made for a great discussion as we covered everything from their early days as homeschool kids in a cover band to their new EP RITUAL. This band has a very unique story, having been together for nearly a decade while still not even being in their mid 20s. The bond is real with that kind of background, ya know? Also, we touch on Adjust The Sails and Leisure Hour and their fellow North Carolinians Kerosene Heights. After the tragic loss of guitarist Xavier Guevara, Ben and Franco decided to end their band Curly Q before eventually forming Colder Quicker. We discuss the loss, their thought process of deciding to start a new band as opposed to keeping Curly Q alive. Along with this we also talk about the Florida scene and the stable of newer bands who are making noise in the state: Walking Blue, Dear Cincinnati, Anchor, Palova, there seems to be something in the water down in Florida and we investigate it as best we can.
