  • Interview with Adam Horwitz, stuntman in films and theatre!
Who are those people who stand-in or appear with highly paid actors as stunt performers? They seldom gain stardom or fabulous wealth, or even recognition by the vast public who witness their work on stage and screen. They work on a wide variety of scenes that have the potential for causing serious injury; including car crashes and chases; fist and sword fights; falls from cars, motorcycles, horses, and buildings; airplane and helicopter gags; rides through river rapids; and confrontations with animals, such as in a buffalo stampede.Adam Horwitz grew up entertaining his friends and family as a daredevil, eventually channeling his physical skill into cheerleading and cheerleader coach.  At age 21, he performed in live shows at Disney, Universal and Busch Gardens in Orlando. Then he traveled the world as a live stunt performer and actor working/living in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Splitting his time between Orlando and New Orleans, he continues to pursue stunt performing in a number of popular action films as well as on stage.Watch the video of this intriguing interview with a stuntman on Facebook and YouTube. The audio version can be heard on Apple, Spotify and other podcast sites on the channel “The World According to Mark.”
