Academy Award nominee Nicole Alyse Nelson joins us in the Pol' Atteu Beverly Hills West Hollywood studio—and she brings her parents all the way from Texas!

From the minute she sits down, this interview goes everywhere: Hollywood dreams, Nickelodeon fame, Oscar night secrets, Emma Thompson, painful Cinderella shoes, an escape-room disaster and, naturally, a bat flying through our bedroom.

Nicole takes us back to Galveston, Texas, and the summer she came to Los Angeles at just 19 for an unpaid internship—and simply never went home. After answering phones, reading scripts and working unpaid production
jobs, she realized she was far more fascinated by the actors than anything
happening behind the camera.

Barely a year later, she landed her first major role on Nickelodeon’s I Am Frankie, filming 43 episodes over two seasons and gaining a global fan base. She also gets candid about the less glamorous side of early success—including the contract that means those reruns aren't exactly delivering glamorous residual checks.

We follow Nicole from I Am Frankie to GLOW and then into the project that changed everything: the Oscar-nominated short Jane Austen’s Period Drama, where she hilariously plays a character named Vagina Talbot. Nicole reveals how Emma Thompson became involved after falling in love with the
film—and why the legendary actress refused a producer credit, instead creating the unforgettable title “Menstrual Executive Advisor.”

Then we go inside Nicole’s surreal road to the Academy Awards: making the long list, cutting down to the final five nominees, attending the Oscars alongside her equally nominated boyfriend Jonah Lees, and wearing a custom Pol’ Atteu gown that had strangers stopping her for photographs.

Nicole dishes on what the Oscar red carpet actually feels like,

Upstairs at the Oscars, Nicole and Jonah escape the crowds

Michelle joins Pol' Atteu and Patrik Simpson for a wildly candid conversation
about the reality-TV opportunity that almost changed everything: her
months-long run at The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She opens up about going through 11 auditions over roughly eight and a half months, filming with Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs, being placed on hold, believing she was close to landing the show — and finally getting the call that production was going in another direction.
But what really happened behind the scenes? Michelle reveals what she was
trying to accomplish when she attempted to bring fractured cast relationships together, why she believes geography and casting chemistry may have played a role, and how she processed the disappointment after getting so close. Arden Myrin sits down for her Armenian coffee reading, and almost immediately the cup turns deeply personal. Pol' Atteu sees a single
letter in the saucer that stops Arden cold — a connection to her late mother
that seems impossible to ignore. From there, the reading begins pointing toward a major shift already gathering around Arden, with something unexpected waiting for her when she returns from filming.
The cup also reveals two mysterious initials — a D and a P — tied to two very
different possibilities. One appears connected to a commitment Arden may not see coming, while the other could lead her toward a creative opportunity she has wanted for years. With a musical she dreams of taking to New York and London, a movie she wants to shoot in Little Compton, and a new relationship quietly developing, the possibilities suddenly feel very real.
But the reading goes much deeper. Arden opens up about losing both parents, the collapse of her marriage, a painful relationship with her father and the emotional weight she has carried for years. Pol' gives her a seven-night full-moon ritual designed to help her protect her energy and finally stop allowing old darkness to penetrate the life she is building now.
