I couldn’t be more excited about my Season 9 finale guest. I have the legend and fellow bassist CJ Ramone of the Legendary Ramones on my show this week! Not only did CJ spend 7 years in the one of the most important bands in music history but CJ also plays bass in Me First & The Gimme Gimmes as well (Now called Spike & The Gimme Gimmes). There were no boundaries for this interview so we dig deep into his time with Ramones and we talk about anything and everything! We didn’t hold back. Matt Caughthran
This week I have a highly entertaining show with Matt Caughthran from the Bronx and Mariachi El Bronx as my guest! I love the Bronx who once was our label mates in the mid 2000’s. Matt and I talk everything from those early band years to members leaving to starting Mariachi El Bronx to an insane Australian tour story involving Fletcher from Pennywise and whole lot more. Like I said highly entertaining and not to be missed this week, I’m telling you!” Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ian Thornley
This week we dive into a little 90’s Alternative Rock and also continue the friendship of the USA and Canada as I have Canadian Ian Thornley of US / Canadian band Big Wreck on my show! Big Wreck started as 1 part Canadian and 3 parts American as the band was formed at the Berkley school of Music in Boston. They have had an interesting career from their start up in Boston and US major label signing in the mid 90’s, to a few US hits in the late 90’s to a break up after their 2nd record, then to only reform 10-11 years later, to a tragic death of their guitarist Brian and everything in between. I get into it all this week with Ian. This is one is not to be missed for any music fan Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Nathan Maxwell
Its rare on my my show I get to have a guest on that I’ve known for a quarter of a century…… This week I have my old friend Nathan Maxwell on the show who plays Bass for the great Flogging Molly! This interview was so much fun and touches on so many things including our (Sum 41’s) 2nd ever US tour in 2000 in which we opened for Flogging Molly and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. We talk about alcohol, we talk about Nirvana, we talk about their work with legendary producer Steve Albini, we talk music and a whole lot more. This interview really was more of a catch up than an interview and thats the way it should be! Make sure you don’t miss this one! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
