This week is a good week cause I have a fellow Canadian on my show. Not only that, him and his band grew up 15-20 mins away from where us in Sum 41 grew up. My guest this week is the lead singer and front man of the Whitby, Ontario band Protest The Hero! With their newest album (first album in 6 years) just out a few days ago called “Within” there is a lot to catch up on with Rody and we dive deep into the early beginnings of Protest The Hero all the way up until this brand new album. Not a lot of people in punk have the kind of music resume this week’s guest has. This week my guest is Brian Baker of Bad Religion, Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Fake Names and the list goes on! How is that for influential punk bands! Brian and I dive into all those bands and he walks me through his time in Punk and Hardcore from his early beginnings as a teenager in Minor Threat right up until now still touring in Bad Religion and Fake Names! I’m back with Season 12 of Cone’s Cave and I couldn’t ask for a better 1st guest than the one and only, the very funny Tom Green! We all know Tom from his MTV days with his Tom Green Show and now he’s back in Canada living on a farm in rural Ontario and has a brand new show out called The Tom Green Farm! We talk about that including some of the great guests he has on plus we talk about his beginnings into film and TV back in Ottawa and whole lot more. This is a very interesting conversation with a guy who’s done a ton in his career and still going strong! This is a great way to start Season 12 of Cone’s Cave and I really recommend you tune for this one!
