I Didn't Know It Was A Date... With Gurdeep Ahluwalia

    2026-10-02 | 1h 13 mins.
We laughed. We cried. We reviewed Hinge.
Plot twist: Gurdeep Ahluwalia once asked me out… and apparently it was a date. So naturally, years later, I brought him onto the Miss Matched couch to unpack it.

We talk timing, why the “right person” can still come along at the wrong time, dating in your 40s, and why Gurdeep would rather stay happily single than settle for something that’s just… fine. And because I clearly couldn’t help myself, I pulled up his dating profile and gave him a few notes.

But this conversation goes somewhere much deeper, too.

Gurdeep opens up about losing his dad, the incredible stories he learned about him after he was gone, and how grief has slowly shifted into gratitude. Four years later, he still thinks of him every single day — and hearing him talk about being grateful simply to have been his son is one of those moments that stays with you.

    A very Miss Matched conversation.

New episode with Gurdeep Ahluwalia out now.

Dad Is Back: Follow Your Kids’ Dreams, Not Yours

    2026-09-25 | 51 mins.
My favourite person is back on the couch. And this time, I’ve got Dad all to myself.
If you know my dad, you know he loves two things fiercely: his family and sports. And growing up, those two things were almost impossible to separate.
We talk about the old-school lessons he learned playing hockey, the sacrifices our parents made to give my brother and me every opportunity, why kids need to learn how to lose, and the difference between pushing your child to succeed and pushing them toward your dream.
Sport taught me discipline. It taught me resilience. It taught me how to fail, get back up and try again. But looking back, I realize the biggest lesson came from my parents: give your kids every opportunity you can — and then let them decide how badly they want it.
Or, as Dad puts it: “Follow your kids’ dreams, not your dreams.”
My dad is back on Miss Matched — and somehow, he’s even wiser the second time around.

The Rick Campanelli You Never Knew | Fame, Addiction & The Secret Arrest

    2026-09-18 | 1h 18 mins.
For years, Canada knew Rick Campanelli as the guy with the mic, the backwards cap and a front-row seat to pop culture.
But there was another life happening when the cameras stopped rolling.

At the height of his career, Rick was hiding a gambling addiction, infidelity, mounting secrets — and an arrest in Las Vegas that almost no one knew about. In fact, when he returned to work at ET Canada, only four people knew what had actually happened. The story stayed buried for 17 years.

I thought I knew Rick. I worked alongside him for years. Then I read his memoir Tempted and realized I knew only one version of him.

This conversation is about the other one.

The fame. The temptation. The mistakes. The people he hurt. The woman who stayed. And what happens when the person everyone thinks has it all quietly loses control — and eventually has to find his way back.

Rick Campanelli, like you’ve never heard him before.

He Grew Up Watching AGT. Now He’s Competing on It | Kameron Marshall

    2026-08-21 | 39 mins.
What happens when a dream you’ve been putting off suddenly becomes real?

Canadian magician Kameron Marshall joins Nicole Servinis on Miss Matched after earning four YESes on Season 21 of America’s Got Talent and advancing to the quarterfinals. But his journey to the AGT stage started long before the cameras were rolling. Kameron shares how a Grade 8 teacher first introduced him to magic, why he eventually wrote “America’s Got Talent” on his whiteboard after years of telling himself he’d audition “one day,” and what it felt like to finally stand on the stage he grew up watching.

We get into the reality behind making magic look effortless: hours of practice, performing through nerves, recovering when a trick goes wrong, reading a room and developing confidence through repetition. Kameron also opens up about the period when he stopped doing magic altogether, what brought him back to the craft, and why remembering the reason he started changed his relationship with performing.

Plus, he shares the daily habits that keep him focused — including more than 1,200 consecutive days of journaling, rating his days, setting goals and holding himself accountable — and why he believes writing down what you want can actually change the way you pursue it.

And, of course, Kameron puts Nicole to the test with a card trick that leaves her completely speechless.

Can Kameron Marshall bring the AGT trophy home to Canada?

Tune into Youtube to see Kameron perform some magic on Nicole — and follow his journey as he heads into the America’s Got Talent live shows.
