The X-Men's efforts to rescue Professor X from Factor Three get held up again as obstacles keep popping up and stopping them from making progress. In today's issues they reconnect with Banshee, face off with Spider-Man, and have money troubles. They also come across a new villain with daddy issues. It's top-tier, classic comic silliness.

Rather than rescuing Professor Xavier, who has been captured by Factor Three, the X-Men have to make a detour to Subterranea. The underground world is home to two villains, Mole Man and Tyrannus. Today's episodes cover their backstories before diving into the villains' conflict with the X-Men in Uncanny X-Men #34.
