Blast Injuries: What To Expect
Rachel Lance, PhD is the author of In the Waves: My Quest to Solve the Mystery of a Civil War Submarine, a book about the blast science required to solve one of the Civil War's most enduring mysteries. Dr. Lance is a biomedical engineer and blast-injury specialist, as well as Assistant Consulting Professor at Duke University where she conducts research regarding human survival in extreme environments out of the Hyperbaric Medicine facility.

Since then he has continued his work with NYC Hospitals and NYPD advising on radiation safety and critical safety programs.
