On today's show, Meidas Canada looks at how the Canadian boycott is not a protest movement but rather an unprecedented moment in our nation's history.
Canadians are taking control of our destiny. Ordinary citizens are doing their part to chart a path of independence from tyranny.
We're also joined by Meidas Canada contributor Lisa Blackburn for a story about author Rachel Reid's recent and very generous donation that is helping to keep a number of rural Nova Scotia libraries from closing.
It's a conversation about the underlying funding challenge that many public institutions are facing and what it means when private citizens have to step in to write the cheques.
