Armed & Anointed with Ashley Russell

Not every open door is from God. I'm sharing two opportunities that showed up in my wilderness season, a big podcast invite and a $20,000 offer. Both looked amazing, and both were counterfeits. We'll walk through Matthew 4 and look at how the enemy tempted Jesus. Then we'll talk about how to sharpen your discernment and stay anchored while God refines you.

Today, I’m sharing how I recognized apathy covering my spiritual fire—and how prayer, fasting, and a season of stepping back helped me find clarity. We’ll talk about how God can use wilderness seasons and changes in our relationships to refine us, the difference between rejection and redirection, and why community matters—but can’t replace time alone with God. If you’ve been feeling spiritually foggy or sensing that something needs to change, I hope this conversation encourages you to trust the process and stay close to Him.
