Chief Mark Stainbrook - Beverly Hills, CA
In this episode, the Chiefs talk about a wide range of topics including the importance of mentorship in a law enforcement career, the uniqueness of leading in a city like Beverly Hills, and the future of the profession.Chief Stainbrook began his career as a Police Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department in 1995, eventually promoting to the position of Lieutenant before joining the Port of San Diego as Assistant Chief in 2011. He was elevated to his current role in 2018. In 2019, the San Diego Crime Commission selected Chief Stainbrook as the County Law Enforcement Official of the Year.Chief Stainbrook recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve with 32 years of military service. He held a variety of assignments including military police, civil affairs, and information operations. His awards include the Navy-Marine Corps Medal for heroism, as well as the Army Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal. While serving in Iraq in 2003, Chief Stainbrook was tasked to reconstitute Iraqi police units in Baghdad. Chief Jeffrey Norman - Milwaukee, WI

As an officer, Chief Norman served in District 1, District 2, and the Technical Communications Division until his promotion to detective in 2002. As a detective, he served in the Robbery Division, Violent Crimes Division and Homicide Division until his promotion to lieutenant in 2010. As a lieutenant, he served in the Property Crimes Division, Metropolitan Division (Robbery Task Force, Homicide Unit and Cold Case Unit) and District 5 as the dayshift commander. Promoted to captain in 2017, he commanded the Inspections Division and District 3. In 2020 he was promoted to Assistant Chief and on November 15, 2021, Chief Norman was sworn in as the Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department.Chief Norman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Masters of Public Administration degree from Kaplan University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School.
