Nico & TK are back! They’re talking about the end of the second volume of both Wolverine & Cable – two significant runs from the 90s that changed everything for the X-Men and Marvel. Wolverine volume 2 launched in the late 80s and ran into the early 2000s, saw the death of Lady Mariko, the loss of Wolverine’s adamantium, and so much more – and it ends on a whimper with stories that feel unconnected to everything going on in the X-Verse. Much the same, Cable’s first volume was landmark for Marvel and changed the face of the X-Men forever – and ends with multiple writers jumping ship.
