Jesus doesn’t just appear in the Bible, He is the lens through which all Scripture is understood. 

John 5:39-40

 “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me. Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.”

 

1: The Bible Makes Sense After You Meet Jesus

The goal of reading Scripture is not information. It’s relationship.

Hebrews 1:3 

“The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God.”

 

2: Jesus Removes the Confusion About God

The clearest picture of God is Jesus.

 

3: Jesus Explains the Parts of the Bible That Scare Us

Matthew 5:38-39
