Is Canada Falling Apart? Corruption, Foreign Interference, Money Laundering

    2026-05-22 | 48 mins.
I sit down with returning guest Brian Isted, a retired Canadian Armed Forces intelligence officer, to discuss why Canada feels like it’s unraveling. We talk about morale collapse, rising unaffordability, and what Brian sees as deep corruption and insider enrichment, especially around housing and government contracts. Brian connects patterns from COVID-era mandates and institutional gaslighting to broader institutional decline, then dives into reports of money laundering through Canadian real estate, organized crime, cartel and triad activity, and alleged CCP proxy influence. We also cover foreign interference/espionage concerns, Chinese police stations in Canada, and the secrecy around compromised parliamentarians. We end with what Canadians can do: educate themselves, seek diverse sources, and get civically active—up to and including running for office.

Controversial Afghan War Memorial - Where Were The Afghan Veterans?

    2026-05-17 | 9 mins.
Dave Morrow, a Canadian Afghan War veteran, delivers a raw, unfiltered critique of Ottawa's Afghan War Memorial groundbreaking ceremony — calling out the exclusion of combat veterans, the politically driven design changes, and Canada's ongoing disrespect for those who served in the country's longest war. He breaks down why the monument's design falls short, how Trudeau interfered with the original jury-selected plan, and what it means for a nation that seems determined to forget Afghanistan ever happened and let the Canadian military rot.

Five Steps to Veteran Health Transformation

    2026-05-09 | 9 mins.
As a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, I've seen firsthand the harsh realities our service members face. It's concerning to see Veterans Affairs prioritize private equity over true rehabilitation, sometimes even offering lethal injection to struggling individuals. Despite billions spent on suicide prevention, the problem of suicidal thoughts persists, and the growing concern of traumatic brain injury among veterans remains poorly addressed. We need to advocate for better veteran benefits and support for our Canadian military.

BOMBSHELL REPORT: Canada Has Ignored This for 50 Years

    2026-05-07 | 17 mins.
In this episode, I break down Veterans Affairs Canada’s committee report on veteran suicide and argue Canada has known for decades that veterans face elevated suicide risk but has failed to act or even properly track deaths—especially among reservists. I highlight key figures cited in the hearings, including that a veteran dies by suicide every nine days, higher suicide rates versus the general population (including sharply elevated risk for men under 29 and for women veterans), and major service-related risk factors like PTSD/operational trauma, moral injury, chronic pain, identity loss during transition, and betrayal/sanctuary trauma. I compare Canada’s limited data to Australia’s comprehensive approach and share testimony about re-traumatization through repeated claims processes, families being locked out of supports, gaps in care, and the lack of a veteran option on 988. I close with the report’s 12 recommendations and specific actions viewers can demand from Parliament.

Broken Contract: Why Veterans Affairs Is Failing the People Who Fought for Canada

    2026-04-27 | 31 mins.
I went to Ottawa and said what needed to be said.

I'm part of the 0.01% — the fraction of Canadians who have actively engaged in combat. I fought for this country in Afghanistan. I did the dirty work. And when I came home and needed help, the system that was supposed to catch me wasn't there.

In this testimony before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs, I break down exactly what's broken with Veterans Affairs Canada and the PCVRS rehabilitation program — a contract farmed out to an American private equity firm that has no business managing the care of Canadian war fighters.

    I talk about:

The language gap between military culture and government bureaucracy

Why the current model of care is emasculating and ineffective

The critical link between physical health and mental health recovery

What a real, veteran-led rehabilitation program actually looks like

Why I have zero confidence in VAC's so-called "independent" review

What needs to change — and why veterans have to lead that fight themselves

This isn't a complaint. This is a call to action.

We are under-recovered, not broken. And until the government starts listening to the people it's mandated to serve, nothing will change.

If you're a veteran, share this. Talk to your friends. Put your boots back on.

The fight isn't over — it just moved here.
