Scarcity leads to competition which leads to dehumanization.One of the gears that keeps the patriarchy turning is zero-sum thinking -- the belief that there's only a fixed amount of success, power, attention, or value to go around. So if someone else gets more, you must get less. This brainwashes us into believing in a scarcity mindset, which keeps us in the eternal rat race. Instead of seeing other women as allies, we perceive them as threats. Jealousy and envy oil the wheels of the patriarchy, and zero-sum thinking keeps those wheels turning on autopilot.
