MiCA Madness
The Interview On 20 April, the European Union Parliament passed the Markets in Crypto Asset (MiCA) regulation. It now goes to the European Council for a final vote (a likely formality) in mid-May. We break down MiCA so you can get the scoop on what the excitement is all about. Joined by Tommaso Astazi, Head of Reg Affairs at Blockchain for Europe this show covers: * An Overview of the EU Political Process* MiCA’s origin story* Contours of MiCA * Future timeline/implementation prognosis for MiCA * “The Brussels Effect” - how the EU might regulate global crypto * … and we finish off with some predictions around what MiCA means for EU innovation. Families came to break fast on the penultimate evening of Ramadan. It was an exquisite meal. * Sunday at the Mauerpark Flea Market. We’ve missed the free entertainment (of people watching) and other musicians who give it a whirl. On what appeared the first real day of Spring in Berlin this was a poppin place and if you’re there on a Sunday … well … you must. * Love Deluxe in Berlin, Germany. It’d been well over a decade since I’d seen the co-owner of Love Deluxe (we went to college together). But that’s the universe, you always find your way back and this time, I got to find my way to my friend’s brand new, and absolutely amazing restaurant in Berlin.
