  • Where To Next?: Series Finale
This is the last episode of Women on the Road, but by no means the end of our community. In fact, we are incredibly excited and honored that Noami Grevemberg and her team at Diversify Vanlife will be helping to evolve the podcast you hear on this channel moving forward, with a total reboot taking place in October under a new name, Nomads at the Intersections. In this finale episode, Noami and Laura talk about what this transition means to them, as well as how we hope to see you take part in where we’re going next.Resources From This Episode:Follow Noami on Instagram: @irietoauroraFollow @diversify.vanlifeLearn about Nomads at the Intersections here: Diversify Vanlife websiteFollow Laura on Instagram: @howsheviewsitSubscribe and listen Sex Outside on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and everywhere podcasts are found!Connect with Sex Outside on Instagram: @sexoutsidepodLearn more about Sex OutsideJoin the On the Road, Our Way Facebook Group!Sponsor Websites & Codes:Betterhelp - get 10% off with promo code ROADOregon State EcampusEnjoy this episode? • What We Carry in the Passenger Seat: Kathy Karlo
For some of us, what got us in the car in the first place are the things we’re running from-- but no matter how many miles we drive, those things end up in the passenger seat, along for the ride with us. Kathy Karlo, a climber, writer, Director of No Man’s Land Film Festival, and host and creator of the For the Love of Climbing podcast, is someone who knows the contents of her passenger seat well-- both literally and figuratively. And she uses the weight of what she carries to build something bigger than herself.Resources From This Episode:Follow Kathy on Instagram: @inheadlightsListen to Kathy's podcast, For the Love of Climbing: Spotify | Apple PodcastsRead Kathy’s article, “Do Not Go Outside to Cry”Follow @diversify.vanlifeWomen On The Road on Instagram: @womenontheroadJoin the On the Road, Our Way Facebook Group!Sponsor Websites & Codes:Betterhelp - get 10% off with promo code ROADOregon State EcampusEnjoy this episode? • Big News: We’re Making Some Changes!
This platform as you know it started several years ago in response to the lack of representation of female road travelers in the media we consume. After over 100 written interviews published online, followed by more than 100 episodes of the WOTR podcast and the growth of this tight-knit online community, we know there are still more conversations to be had.But we also feel, more strongly than ever, that in the spirit of what WOTR has aimed to do-- broaden our perception of who is on the road, and elevate those voices and stories-- that our current team at @ravel.media are not the ones who need to be hosting these conversations moving forward. That’s why we’re making some big changes. Thanks to Diversify Vanlife, we are partnering to evolve this platform so that it can further serve the conversations that aren’t being had enough, led by the people we need to hear from most.Starting in October, Diversify Vanlife will replace the WOTR podcast under the name Nomads at the Intersections. This monthly show, hosted by founder Noami Grevemberg and co-host Anaïs Monique, will shift the narrative and navigate the challenges, journeys and inspirations of the modern nomadic movement while diving deep into the stories of underrepresented voices. If you’re already subscribed to WOTR on your favorite podcast app, you’ll automatically start getting Nomads at the Intersections content as the re-launch approaches. We’ll also drop some exciting updates right here as well as via Instagram @diversify.vanlife, so just sit tight, make sure you’re following along, and we’ll keep you updated.WOTR as the show you know it now with host Laura Borichevsky will be on air until Friday, 9/18. You’ll still be able to listen to past episodes after this date on the same podcast feed. We have some special things planned for our final two episodes so we’re hoping you tune in!Thanks to each of you for being here for what this community has grown into, and we’re excited to have you here to see where we can all go together next.Links You Need to Know About:Keep subscribed to this RSS feed-- it’ll be changing to the name “Nomads at the Intersection” between now and OctoberApple PodcastsSpotifyStitcherFollow @diversify.vanlife on Instagram for more re-launch updatesGet to know the Diversify Vanlife team:Noami Grevemberg: @irietoauroraAnaïs Monique: @anaismoniqJayme Serbell: @gnomadhomeStay tuned for another new Ravel Media podcast hosted by current WOTR host Laura Borichevsky, Sex Outside!Subscribe and listen to the trailer on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and everywhere podcasts are found!Connect with us on Instagram: @sexoutsidepodLearn more about Sex OutsideFind Laura Borichevsky online if you want to keep in touch: @howsheviewsitThis episode of On the Road, Our Way is produced and hosted by Laura Borichevsky.
