It is very important to ensure that our joy is full and our peace is complete. This as mentioned is only possible in Christ. A deeper relationship with our saviour guarantees us everlasting peace. The good things we achieve or receive can only give us temporal excitement or cause us to react positively. Our true peace is hidden in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. Nuggets Peace Is enhanced by Repentance, Forgiveness and Reconciliation. Joy is guaranteed in Christ, even when the circumstances are not favourable. Prayer: Father, I surrender all my fears and anxieties to you and ask for your peace to abound in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”” John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. “Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord.   VOT: July 17, 2024 Outer crowd to the Inner Court “Divine Shift” The Beautiful Gate” PJ-factor (Peter and John) Our case study is the Man that was lame from birth who was daily laid at “The Beautiful Gate” at the ninth hour of Prayer. The fact that he was strategically carried to the temple at the hour of Prayer is significant because, that positioned him right to encounter Peter and John. They did not have what he was expecting or wanted, but they had what he needed. He needed Jesus Christ to come into his battered life to make him better. He was also at the “Beautiful Gate” but his life was not beautiful. Therefore, he also needed Jesus to make his life beautiful beyond being around or associated with beautiful people or surrounding. Nugget 1. No matter how beautiful you are, or your surrounding and things around you look, you are NOT beautiful without Christ. 2. Everyone needs a Peter and John (PJ-factor) to point them to what they need or who they need “JESUS” (WORD). This is Permanent and everlasting. On the contrary, what we want is often WORLDLY desires which is temporary and can easily fade away. Choose right by the help of the Holy Spirit. It is wise to invite Jesus Christ into your life so that you can move from the outer Beautiful gate to the Beautiful inner courts or His Holy presence where you can actually behold the beauty of the Lord. Prayer avails much with much Patience P-1: Purify your hearts through genuine repentance P-2: Position yourself to receive the Word P-3: Prophesy to the situation P-4: Praise God before, while waiting and after receiving answers P-5: Persistence-Refuse to quit and you are sure to win P-6: Presence of God P-7: Power of God released when Jesus takes over. P-8: Push (Pray Until Something Happens) the Violent take it by force P-9: Patience will make you wait till you meet your destiny helper “Peter and John” PJ factor P-10: Preach the good news of Salvation and win souls for Christ. After the man who was Lame received his miracle, he obviously went about sharing his testimony. J-1: Jesus is the answer to any question or puzzle that is not clear to the natural eyes. The supernatural power of Jesus overrules the natural. J-2: Joy comes after a season of weeping ( Psalm 30:5) J-3: Jubilation is the antidote of frustration. Paul and Silas sang hymns in the prison. Choose to jubilate and not stay frustrated even in the prison of life. “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.   VOT: July 16, 2024 Times and Seasons belong to God “Pruned to flourish” Everyone is faced with situations or issues that can be classified as “Seasons” of life. For example there are reasons why we go through these seasons. It could be for us to gain experience, have better understanding of certain aspects of life or grow and qualify for the next level of life. It is wise and helpful on the long run to accept or see such moments or situations as opportunity to become better and not bitter. When you allow God to prune you through the tests or trials, you come out sharpened, stronger and more diligent. Pruning is the cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems, especially to increase fruitfulness and growth. It is cutting off bad fruits to give way to bear good fruits. P: Purging, Repentance, Confess and Forsake every evil and wrong doings R: Removal of weeds and tares U: Uproot every unprofitable seeds N: Nourishment-Word (Food and Water) E: Empty ourselves of every spiritual junk (bitterness, anger..) Exhibit Christ-like fruits D: Doer of the Word; Destroy evil works Flourishing Grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment. An instance of suddenly performing or developing in an impressively successful way. F: Fear of the Lord; Fruitful Vine (Faith in God) Favoured; Fountain of living water L: Love; Life in abundance; Light O: Oil of anointing, gladness; Overflow of Joy and Peace; Overcomer.   VOT: July 15, 2024- Sow the right SEED “Reap in Mercy” Hosea 10:12. One thing that is constant and apparent to all of God’s creation is sowing seeds. The onus is on us to intentionally sow in righteousness in order for us to reap in mercy. If you are not intentional or conscious of sowing good seeds, you may be sowing wrong seeds without your knowledge or understanding. It takes the Holy Spirit to quicken you or caution you to sow the right seeds. Therefore we must stay rooted and grounded in the undiluted Word of God. When you walk in obedience and manifest the fruit of the Spirit, you are on the right path and will surely flourish. On the other hand, when you walk in disobedience, you are also likely to be sowing the wrong seed which has negative consequences and could cause such a person to perish. Choose to flourish and not perish. The benefits that come with sowing the right seed of obedience are numerous, and will last forever as long as we stay faithful and diligent. Nugget: The bridge that will successfully cross you from the side of disobedience to the side of total obedience is genuine repentance. Prayer: Father grant me a repentant heart and cause me to sow in righteousness and heed to your voice, so that I may reap in mercy and uncommon favour in Jesus’ name, Amen. “Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” Hosea‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. ““Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. Lot was spared by divine association with Abraham, but his wife looked back and became a pillar of Salt. Noah was asked to bring his entire family under the ark. In the midst of the flood, they were spared. Ruth was preserved from further pain and shame when she decided to follow her Mother In-law, Naomi all the way back to her land of origin Bethlehem Judah. The four Hebrew boys: Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were allies and emerged victorious throughout their battles both in the Lion’s den (Daniel) and the fiery furnace) for the other three, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego by divine association. They walked together in the fear of the Lord and made up their mind not to defile themselves of the King’s meat. P-factor P-1: Purpose in your heart to be in the right association and be intentional about keeping Godly relationship. It is in the right association that your destiny is secured P-2: Pray without ceasing and heed to divine instructions P-3: Praise God always, even in the Prison. Joseph was in the prison, but still utilized his God-given gifts to be a blessing to his companions. Paul and Silas praised God and the Prison doors were flung open for them to be free. P-4: Prophesy to your circumstance and command every yoke of oppression to be destroyed P-5: Preach the good news in and out of season, particularly in any group or association. Prayer: Father grant me the spirit of wisdom and discernment to associate with the right people and be preserved for your glory. “But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.
